The Committee

Alt_Scott McKenzie 2013 North Island Champion1

The committee is elected each year by members at the AGM, which is currently held at the End of Seasons each year.  In accordance with the constitution, it manages the affairs of the class on behalf of all members.

There is an elected position for each of the main roles e.g. sailing, technical, training, teams etc.  A summary of each of the current roles is detailed here.  The committee operates by these elected members coming together at least six times per year.  The minutes are published. So the committee is not an “executive”, there are no reporting structures and almost all decisions are reached by consensus.
